Thierry Henry?

With Chelsea set to scour the bargain buckets this January with the board, apparently, restricting the cash available as the credit crunch bites, an interesting potential target has emerged.

Last week, the suggestion was that the club might target Michael Owen, well today the suggestion, published in a tabloid, is that Luiz Felipe Scolari could be looking towards the Catalan city of Barcelona to ease his striking crisis with a bid for former Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry.

The article states that the fee would be in the region of £5 million and would give Henry the escape route back to London and the Premier League that he apparently craves.

Would Henry be a good buy?

Your thoughts please!
