The other Michael, Michael Mancienne!

After being called into the England squad, Michael Mancienne is naturally, as all footballers are in such circumstances, over-the-moon.

The Sun newspaper had widely tipped Mancienne as a surprise inclusion on Saturday morning and when it came to fruition Michael was eager to explain his feelings remarking,

"It is a great honour and a dream come true."

"It is the dream of every boy to play for their country and it is fantastic to be in the squad."

"I was focussed on being in the U21 squad so this was great news."

"Just being around the squad will be superb."

Our congratulations go to Michael on achieving the first part of a dream, here`s hoping he gets the opportunity to shine in Berlin.
