Drogba faces a THREE match ban.

DIDIER DROGBA has admitted an FA charge of violent conduct for throwing a coin at Burnley fans.

The 30-year-old reacted angrily when he was subjected to a torrent of abuse after opening the scoring for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Phil Scolari's side were eventually dumped out of the Carling Cup on penalties and Drogba immediately apologised for his moment of madness.

But the Blues striker is likely to be handed a three-match ban when the FA regulatory commission meets tomorrow.

A statement from Chelsea confirmed: "Didier Drogba has responded to the FA's charge of violent conduct and will not contest it."
