CLAUDIO PIZZARO TO BUNDESLIGA

Despite only having been with us for a year, Claudio Pizarro looks as if he`s about to head back to the Bundesliga.

Pizarro, who joined us on a free from Bayern Munich last summer, was never more than a fringe player at Stamford Bridge and was unable to secure a regular place in the side.

With a change in the managerial chair, Claudio would possibly have liked a chance to stay and try and impress 'Big Phil` Scolari, however, with illustrious names such as Ronaldinho, Kaka,Eto`o and Ribbery being touted as possible signings, the Peruvian probably feels that a move away is his best chance of getting more regular football.

According to media reports, two Bundelsiga clubs have expressed an interest in securing his services, Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen. Whether, Claudio would be a regular at either side is open to debate, however, if he is to move we`d endeavour to wish him well.
