Chelsea Squad Not Fit Enough According To New Manager Guus Hiddink

According to a report in British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, recently appointed Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink believes that his squad are lacking in fitness.

The Dutch manager, it is claimed, came to the conclusion that he needs to up the intensity of the Blues' training after overseeing a session for the first time on Monday.

It is not just the 62-year-old who holds this opinion. Some players have declared that their fitness has deteriorated since the departure of former assistant manager Steve Clarke to West Ham United.

Hiddink is expected to give each player a fitness test to understand the level each player is at in order to improve his squad's endurance levels ahead of the upcoming fixtures against Aston Villa and Juventus.
